Meet Dr. Janet Schultz
Associate DVM
Dr. Schultz began working in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant in 1990 when she was only 16 years old. In 2018, Dr. Schultz traveled the mountains of Otavalo, Ecuador as a student instructor for the International Veterinary Medicine Program through World Vets to provide spay and neuter procedures for pets of the local indigenous populations. For as long as she can remember, Dr. Schultz always wanted to be a veterinarian because she felt such a strong connection to dogs and cats. According to Dr. Schultz, the best part about working in the veterinary field is being able to make a difference in the lives of her patients and their families and consistently solving problems and learning in her profession.
Originally from the South Shore of Long Island, Dr. Schultz relocated to Pennsylvania in 1990 and currently lives in Bucks County with her two Chiweenies named Benny and Wily and her two domestic short hair cats named Catniss and Aragon. In her free time, Dr. Schultz loves to go glamping on Chincoteague Island and traveling to different parts of the United States in her small camper. She enjoys hiking, reading fiction, gardening, and has recently started making her own wine.
